Apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator
(m/f/d)
We are looking for apprentices as machine and plant operators (m/f/d) for our location in Unterwellenborn. The apprenticeship is full-time and will start in Aug./Sept. 2026.
Requirements Profile
- Qualified secondary school certificate or secondary school certificate
- At least 16 years old at the start of the apprenticeship
- Interest in manual activities
- Thorough and careful working methods
- Sociability, reliability, ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work shifts after training (also on Sundays and public holidays)
Apprenticeship process
The 2-year dual training is divided into:
- practical training at the Berufsfortbildungswerk bfw Saalfeld
- professional training in the company
- theoretical training at the vocational school in Unterwellenborn
- Acquisition of the authorization to operate cranes and industrial trucks
Areas of responsibility after training
- Operating and testing production plants
- Performing maintenance work
- Identifying and independently rectifying faults
