Job description
We are looking for a foundry worker (m/f/d) for our location in Unterwellenborn. This is a full-time position available immediately. Compensation is based on the collective bargaining agreement. Work location: Kronacher Straße 6, 07333 Unterwellenborn.
- Operation of the continuous casting system after comprehensive training (preparation of the tundish for casting, independent monitoring of the casting process as well as post-processing and dismantling of the tundish)
- Implementation of specified technical parameters and reaction to changes in the casting process as well as monitoring of the casting powder quantity in the mold
- Completion of transport work with cranes or industrial trucks
- Taking over maintenance work for format changes and repairs
- Supporting the crane operator as a slinger and providing support for emergency cutting and/or cold strand preparation
- Performing flame cutting work with an oxygen lance and manual cutting torch
Preparation of the tundish for casting, independent monitoring of the casting process as well as post-processing and dismantling of the tundish
The proactive execution of technical work on production plants increases system efficiency, extends the service life of the machines and, at the same time, increases operational stability.

Your profile
- Successfully completed training, ideally as a foundry mechanic or in a metalworking or technical profession
- Knowledge and practical experience in a metalworking company (foundry) as well as crane and forklift license are an advantage
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Good comprehension and technical understanding, careful working methods
- High degree of commitment, independence, flexibility and pronounced teamwork skills
